A RELIGIOUS CANVASS OF THE COLLEGE.

There is likely soon to be a canvass made, to determine the condition of the college in the matter of religious belief. The plan may be to distribute among the students a short list of questions, to be answered (in confidence), and returned. The only other way is to call on each student in person. Either plan will involve much trouble to those who conduct the canvass, and a degree of annoyance to the individual students; but the interest of the results will be an ample recom pense. The last canvass was in 1881, under charge of the board of editors of the Harvard Echo, the daily which preceded the HERALD-CRIMSON. L.
