About 35 members of the Lacrosse Association were present at the Annual meeting, which was held in 23 Thayer, instead of in Holden. as at first contemplated. The meeting was called to order by President Rueter, '84. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted in the choice of the following: President, W. B. Noble, '85; vice-president. M. C. Hobbs, '85; secretary-treasurer, J. O. Sumner, '87; captain of the twelve, H. M. Williams, '85.
The team manager will be selected by the captain at a later date. It is proposed to practice on the east end of Jarvis on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons during the fall, and all who take an interest in the game are asked to be present on the field on those days, that a team may be selected as soon as possible. It is possible that a freshman team will soon be put in training. The management of the association hope to arrange games with the Somerville and Cambridge clubs, and possibly with the Bostons, formerly the Unions, to be played during the present month.
