The nine played a very uninteresting game with the Hub nine yesterday. The Hubs fielded very poorly and their batting was weak. Nichols pitched well. The feature of the game was a running one hand catch by Lovering, which was one of the finest catches ever seen on Jarvis field. Following is the score by innings:
