HARVRD SHOOTING CLUB.

Eight members of the club entered matches at Walunut Hill Thursday. The first two events were well contested, and the shooting of all the competitors was unusually good. In the clay bird match, Mr. Godwin made the highest score yet recorded in any match of the club, breading nine out of the ten shot at, -a feat rendered difficult by the strong wind. A match at five pigeons was shot, at the close of the two regular shot, at the close of the two regular matches. The summary of the events follows:

First event.- Fry, '86, 9 balls; Hutchinson, '84, Slocum, '86, Foster, Sp. S. tie on 8 balls; Goodwin, '84, Austin, '86, tie on 7 balls.

Second event.- Goodwin, '84, 9 birds; Hutchinson, '84, 6 birds; slocum, '86, Austin, '86, Palmer, '87, tie on 5 birds.

Third event.- Slocum, '86, 4 birds; Hutchinson, '84, forster, Sp. S. tie on 3 birds; Goodwin, '84 Frye, '86, tie on 2 birds.
