MATTHEW ARNOLD'S LECTURE.

The authorities of the University have been unable to invite Mr. Matthew Arnold to lecture here. But if $125 can be raised by the sale of tickets at one dollar apiece, arrangements can be made with Mr. Arfiold to deliver a lecture here on Monday evening, the only date at his disposal. All who wish to subscribe will please sign their names at Bartlett's before tonight and state the number of tickets desired.
