‘I Am Really Sorry’: Khurana Apologizes for International Student Winter Housing Denials
The moon rose slowly on the cliffs,
And touched the lake with rippling gleam.
The boats drift noiselessly along,
As phantoms gliding in a dream.
The soft light flashed on oar-blades wet,
And showed the craft en sithouette.
Across the moon's wake floats a skiff;
Two man it, and yet one is fair.
He takes his seat beside her, then-
A silvery laugh the echoes bear;
And as their heads together met,
I saw them kiss, en [sithouette.
Her form, though indistinct, calls up
The image of my lady true,
She'd never play me false ! altho'
The laugh was very like hers, too.
The doubt is madd'ning,-and yet
I saw them kiss, en sithouette.
