The crew arrived in New London yesterday afternoon, and went to their quarters. The boats and steam launch got there yesterday morning. As soon as the crew reached their quarters they took a short spin in their shell, and were coached by Bancroft in the launch. The crew carried with them two paper shells and a Blakie pair oar. The Columbia race Saturday will probably take place at 3 P. M. The Yale crew is expected at New London in a day or two. The general impression at New London is that Harvard will beat Columbia Saturday, but after a close race Yale will beat Harvard next week.
