Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The day was warm and sun very bright, much to the annoyance of the catchers. Game was called a few minutes after 4 P. M., Harvard winning the toss.
First innings. - Taylor made a base hit; Savage out on a fly to Coolidge; Arnd out, Burt assisted by Bean; Hunt went out by a long fly to Crocker. Coolidge hit to Gardner; Olmsted made the first base hit for the Harvards; Crocker out on a fly to Arnd, and Nichols out by second to first.
Second innings. - Gardner out by Le Moyne to first; Hamlin caught out by Olmsted; Buffum and Boyden got first, but Harris went out on foul fly to Hall before they scored. For Harvard - Baker out by second to first; Hall struck a base hit, but caught running to third; Burt to first on balls scored, as did Bean; Coolidge, a base hit; Olmsted out by fly to Taylor.
Third innings. - Taylor out on fly to Crocker; Savage, foul fly to Hall; Arnd the same; Crocker out by Gardner to Hamlin. Nichols, foul fly to Savage; Baker made a base hit and run; Hall a base hit, out at second; Burt left on base.
Fourth innings. - Hunt went out by Baker to Burt; Gardner foul fly to Hall; Hamlin knocked a hot liner which Baker caught. For Harvard - Bean struck out; Le Moyne got his base; Coolidge, a foul fly to Savage, and Olmsted on a hit to Buffum.
Fifth innings. - Buffum out by Bean to Burt; Gardner by Hall to Burt; Hamlin a long fly to Nichols. For Harvard - Crocker went out by Gardner to first; Nichols struck out; Baker out by third to second.
Sixth innings. - Taylor to first; Savage out on foul bounce to Le Moyne, finely taken; Taylor forced out on second, and Arnd on the same double play by Coolidge to Burt. Burt was prettily caught out on foul fly by third; Bean out, short to first; Le Moyne struck a base hit, caught running to third.
Seventh Innings. - Hunt out, Baker to Burt; Gardner, well fielded by Bean to Burt; Hamlin, a hit to Nichols. For Harvard - Olmsted to first; Crocker to first on balls; Nichols, base hit; all three scored runs; Baker first out on fly to Boyden; Hall made a base hit; Burt got first; Bean out on foul to catcher; Le Moyne, Burt and Hall left on bases by a long hit of Coolidge to Buffum. In this innings the visitors became rattled and their playing for the rest of the game was loose and full of errors.
Eighth innings. - Buffum fly to Olmsted; Boyden fly to Coolidge; Harris out on foul to catcher. The innings of the Harvards was remarkable in that four runs were made without a ball or strike being called on Harris; Olmsted a base hit, and Crocker the same; both brought home by a three baser of Nichols; Baker out short to first; Hall scored run; Burt base hit; Bean out to Boyden, and Le Moyne short to first.
In the ninth innings Taylor went out by Baker to Burt; Savage fly to Coolidge; Arnd fly to Olmsted.
The playing of both sides was good up to the seventh innings, when the Amhersts lost heavily. Baker played a beautiful game, assisting in two double plays, and making a fine stop and long throw to first. Bean's pitching was very even and steady, and Hall's catching good. Burt began badly at first, but rallied toward the last. The play of Taylor and Savage was best for the Amhersts, and Hunt's very irregular. The score:
