The probabilities are that a game between the Harvard and Yale freshmen will be played in New Haven next Saturday. The vicissitudes through which this game has already gone are somewhat remarkable, but we have this statement on the authority of the captain of our team.
Later - A telegram has been sent to the Yale freshmen, endeavoring to arrange a game for tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon. No answer has yet been received by Capt. Woodbury.
P. S. The Yale-Harvard freshman game will probably be played Wednesday in Cambridge. Our authority for this statement is the Yale News of Monday, Nov. 20.
Nothing definite has yet been learned as to Friday; but the chances for this day as a compromise seem good. The game will probably be played - when, we are unable to state.
