Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
THE day has fled, yet still the sunset lingers,
With tender glow illumining the spars
Of you great ships whose taper masts, like fingers,
Point upward to the stars.
And I sit hoping, vaguely yet sincerely,
That when for me life's troubled day is o'er,
Some deed of mine to earth may send, as clearly,
Light from another shore.
