VALENTINES.

WHO does not feel a thrill of pleasure on receiving a valentine? How carefully he opens the large envelope, with cupids and flowers stamped on it; how eagerly he tries to detect the disguised handwriting; how complacently he appropriates the pretty motto within, to himself! Appreciating the vividness of this pleasure, and wishing my best friends to enjoy it, I have sent the following valentines to those I am most interested in at present. The first was written with the sentiment briefly expressed on a postal card, and directed to
