Ernest B. Chenoweth, late editor of the Saturday Evening Gazette, died at Leicester Friday night.

Mr. Chenoweth was born in Virginia in 1866. His school life began in the Chaucey Hall School, but later he entered the Boston Latin School, from which he graduated in 1884, Upon completing his college course he went to New York to take up the profession of journalism. In a short time he was made night city editor of one of New York's daily newspapers, which position he held until 1895, when he returned to Boston to assume the editorship of the Saturday Evening Gazette.
