Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
FROM her half-shut window peeped
The lovely Rosalie,
And my heart within me leaped,
As her dancing, laughing eyes,
Now so mischievously wise,
Now so melting and so deep,
Turned in full upon me,
And aroused me as from sleep.
To me standing there below
Came her accents, soft and low
With a rhythmic, even flow
Of rich harmonies commingled, -
Filled me till my being tingled
With a pure delight.
As I stood there gazing long,
All enraptured by her song,
Came an answer, full and strong,
From a manly form behind me:
"Thou by chains of love dost bind me."
Long are yet the song has ceased,
From my thraldom now released,
I had vanished quite.
