Wandering close the moon beside,

Following fast his silvery mistress

In her path to gently glide!

Now a tempest veils them from us,

And the thunder roars above ;

Now 't is calm, and forth serenely

They together brightly move.

So should love - the deepest feeling

Follow e'er through storms and sorrows
