IT is the season of the year
When everything is dull;
Examinations passed in fear
Are followed by a lull.
Innate ideas and enthymemes
Have left our minds at rest;

And hope now for the best.
Conditioned, warned, - we little care,
We look for what 's to come;
Warm days of spring and zephyrs fair
Will find few faces glum.
