Members of the Boston Alumni club of the Business School will recommend candidates for two scholarships of $300 each to be awarded by the Business School Alumni Association to students entering the session at the Business School, beginning January 27.

Students from the Boston are who are planning to enter the School at this time will be eligible to apply for these awards through the officers of the local club. Hamilton Heard '28, of Russell, Berg & Co., is president of the local group and Horace G. Torbert, Jr., of Hollingsworth & Whitney Co., is secretary.

Recipients of these scholarships will enter the School in January, taking the regular first-year program, and continue their studies until August 12. If their work has been satisfactory they will be eligible to enter the regular second-year work in September and graduate the following June. Entrance in this session permits considerable savings in both time and expense. The season is offered at this time, according to the official announcement of the School, as a convenience for those men finishing college at midyear who can begin their professional training without loss of time, as well as for recent college graduates who have discovered their need for broader and more intensive study in the field of business administration.

Scholarships will be granted on the basis of scholastic standing and financial need of the applicant. Additional assistance is available to students of this session through the six Service Scholarships of $300 each to be awarded by the School. In return for this assistance, a student will be expected to work at various-assigned tasks.
