Tribute to Be Paid to Root

One Harvard man will pay tribute to another. The eightieth birthday of Elihu Root LL.D. (Hon.) '07 will be celebrated on February 15 by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, of which he is president, in the publication of a tribute to his great services to international law and peace. J. D. Scott '90 is the author of this tribute to Mr. Root. The preface has been written by Dr. Nicholas Murray Butler LL.D. (Hon.) '09, President of Columbia University
