Henry Hardwick Faxon '21 of Quincy was unanimously elected President of the Student Council for 1920-21 at the first meeting of the year held in the Crimson Building last night. Thomas Stilwell Lamont '21 of Englewood, New Jersey, was elected Vice-President, and Hermon Dunlap Smith '21 of Chicago, Illinois, Secretary.

Mr. John Richardson '08 explained that it was costing the University approximately $400 a year to give each man the educational services for which he is paying $200. The Endowment Committee considers that undergraduates as well as graduates should contribute to the fund. Therefore it was decided that the Executive Committee of the Student Council would take charge of the Endowment Fund Campaign in the University.

The Council approved the appointment of Henry Stuart Payson Rowe '22 of Brookline as Assistant Track Manager and of Arthur Joseph Connell '21 of Dorchester as Cross-Country Manager.
