Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Cambridge, Mass., October 25.--Harvard University undergraduate students are undoubtedly the worst dressed group of university men on any New England campus. There is practically no dress consciousness whatsoever and at present their tendency seems to be for students to dress as slovenly as possible.
Suits are ill-fitting and worn threadbare at the knees, topcoats are either three times too small or four times too large for the wearer, and have never seen the cleaners, felt hats look as though they had been resurrected from the ash-heap, shirts look as though they hadn't seen a laundry in weeks; this characterizes the apparel of Harvard undergraduates.
No reason can be given for the absurd dress condition at Harvard. The men certainly must have an average amount of money to spend for clothing but have just adopted a "don't care" attitude.
This slovenly dress on the part of Harvard undergraduates is not characteristic of the older men who are taking work in the graduate schools of law, business administration, etc. For the most part the graduate students are neater and pay more attention to the details of dress.
There is a decided tendency among the graduate students to adopt the English type of dress with tight fitting waist, two-button peaked lapel jacket, and peg top trousers that are 20 inches at the knee and 17 at the bottom.
