The preliminary round of the Leiter Cup series was continued on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. Two games were played, the Limes defeating the Tiddlewinks, 14-3; and the Prickly Heats defeating the Hawkeyes, 13-6.
The Hit Hards will play the Huskies on the diamond behind the baseball bleachers this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The final games in the preliminary round will be played as follows: Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock--Fathers vs. Mothers on the diamond behind the bleachers, and Sardines vs. Bush Leaguers on the new football field diamond; Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock--Nine Muses vs. Baby Dolls on the new football field diamond. Winning captains are reminded that the final score, together with the complete line-ups of both contesting teams, must be placed in the Leiter Cup box in the CRIMSON office before 8 o'clock on the day of the game. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the disqualification of both teams.
