Radcliffe Netters Defeat B.C., 7-2

The Radcliffe Tennis Team brought its season's record to 2-1 with a 7-2 victory over Boston College yesterday on the Soldier's Field courts.

Debby Bisco of B.C., one of the top tennis players in the New England collegiate circle, beat top Cliffe player Joy Skon, 6-4 6-4. At number two singles, Meg Morgan defeated Andrea Wolfe in one set, 8-1. Jill Robertson took the final first team singles match with 6-2, 6-2 victory over Dennie Daych of B.C.

Coach Perla Hewes said yesterday that the Crimson's doubles teams were very strong and were shaping up well for the Seven Sisters Tournament which will begin on May 7. Claire Stewart and Kathy Agoos confirmed this with a two out of three set win. Ingrid Sarapuu and Ellen Rouse held the B.C. team to a surprising 0-0 tie.
