The trial matches for the University tennis team played yesterday on Jarvis Field resulted as follows: E. L. Beard '10 defeated R. H. Eggleston '09, 2-6, 8-6, 6-3; G. G. Browne '10 defeated R. M. Gardiner '09, 4-6, 7-5, 6-1; G. C. Adams '10 defeated H. S. Appleton '10, 6-0, 6-0.

The following matches have been arranged for today: G. G. Browne '10 vs. H. Nickerson '11, on Jarvis Field at 9 o'clock, winner to play E. L. Beard '10 on Jarvis Field at 11 o'clock.
