In a practice race on the Charles yesterday afternoon a junior four-oared crew defeated the first and second Middlesex School crews over a course a little less than three-quarters of a mile long. The second Middlesex crew was given a start of two lengths. The Junior crew gained about half a length on the start and held this lead throughout the race. The second Middlesex crew finished about the same distance behind the first crew.
