Surveyors commenced yesterday on the project of preparing a level strip of land to be used as a walk, running directly from the steps of the College Library up to the portico of the new Memorial Chapel. Stakes have been driven in to indicate the section of the Yard which must be levelled off before this new addition to the ramification of Yard pathways can be made. If the plan, which is being pursued by the engineers of the chapel, is successful, the walk will probably be macadamized.
