There's an old saying: "Whats in a name?" that has been going the rounds for a good many years now, But whoever wrote that never went to Harvard. Because right here in Cambridge there is exactly $4600 in the right name--especially if it's Murphy!
If, Mr. Murphy, you will turn to page 30 in the College catalogue of "Expenses and Financial Aids," you will find the following pithy paragraph: WILLIAM STANISLAUS MURPHY. For the "collegiate education of men of the name of Murphy" Several (scholarships), from a total income of $2800. . . All of which means that you're in the money!
But before you other readers turn away with an aside about lucky Irishmen, you had better try to find your name in the list below. There's still $1800 that is not going to the clan of Murphy, and it will be divided among men with the following names: Baxendale, Borden, Downer, Haven, and Hudson.
