Lacrosse Team Loses.

The lacrosse team lost it first game of the season on Saturday to the Crescent Athletic Club by the score of 15 to 0. Although outclassed in team work by their more experienced opponents, the Harvard players showed considerable skill in stick work, and in the second half played a fairly good all-round game. The great fault was the tendency of the men to leave their opponents unguarded when playing on the defensive.

In the first half the Crescent team scored ten goals, but in the second half the Harvard team braced, and, largely by the fast and accurate playing of Taylor and Sever and Goddard's clever work at goal, kept the score down to fifteen.
