Robert E. Kaufmann '62, assistant dean of the Faculty for financial affairs, has apparently worked out a way to effect one of the budget-cutting measures Dean Rosovsky favors--making other faculties pay when their students use the resources of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
Kaufmann won't release his draft plan yet, but this week he'll be taking it around to various powerful committees--including the Council of Deans and perhaps the Corporation--for approval.
