Cricket Game a Draw.

At Lowell Saturday afternoon the cricket team played a drawn game with the Lowell Cricket Club. Lowell's score was 73, Harvard's 46 not out. Lowell had first innings and by strong, consistent batting made seventy-three runs. The longest stand for Lowell was made by Moss who scored 25. Wilder and Bradley bowled for Harvard, and although the support given them was erratic, their work was creditable. The features of the fielding were Lowry's faultless cricket-keeping and a surprising catch by Fairweather. On the whole, however, the fielding was not sharp and showed lack of team work.

When Harvard went to bat the first few wickets fell in quick succession and it became Harvard's policy to play for a draw, which was secured with two wickets to spare. MacNeill batted in best shape for Harvard, running up double-figures. Harvard. A. Drinkwater, b. Hird,  4 J. H. A. L. Fairweather, l.b.w. Hird,  0 MacNeill, run out,  11 H. H. Lowry, c. Stirks, b.
