The University crews had another hard row yesterday. The order of McGrew's crew remained the same as it has been for several days but Bullard's crew was again shaken up. During the first part of the afternoon Colby was put at seven in place of Bullard, Dunbar moved to Colby's place at five and Cunningham was put at three. At the Union Boat Club Bullard took his regular place, Colby was moved back to five replacing Dunbar, Lloyd was put at three in place of Cunningham and Derby replaced Sanger at four.
The crews rowed over the mile and seven-eighths course down stream. Bullard's crew was given a slight lead at the start and finished about two lengths behind McGrew's. The latter has a more even beat and is better together than Bullard's crew.
