NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University R.O.T.C. announced yesterday that a three inch battery would be taken to Waverly this week and installed in connection with the pistol range now in use on the old R.O.T.C. maneeuver grounds. As soon as the battery is put into working condition, and after a short elementary practice, work in direct and indirect laying will be started. Major Goetz is planning to have sub-caliber shooting almost entirely in order to give the men practice in the use of heavy artillery.
